About - Write From Dictation is the last question type in PTE listening section and also in overall PTE exam. This section is designed to test a test taker’s ability to listen and dictate the sentence following an oral sequencing of information presented in the audio. Comprehension of speaker’s variations in tone, speed and accent, and writing from dictation using correct spelling is expected in the exam. Total of 3-4 questions are asked in the exam.

Time duration: - There is no specific time assigned to each question in the Listening section except Summarize Spoken Text. Hence, divide the remaining time into 4 sections to solve all the WFD dictation questions.
