Strategy -
- Listening Fill in the blanks is important task not only for
Listening Section, but also for Writing Section. You get 2-3
questions in the exam with 3-5 blanks in each question. Each
right blank typed correctly gives you 1 mark.
Tips: Before the audio starts playing, try to read the word
front of each blank, so that you get an idea even though if
you miss the blank. Look for the grammatical structure of the
sentence to find out Singular or Plural nouns or any other

Time duration: - There is no specific time assigned to each question in the Listening section except Summarize Spoken Text. Therefore, it is important to keep an eye open in the overall time and assign maximum 1 minute to write all the answer. This will help you to save time for the last section “Write from Dictation”.
